PM Douglas to deliver feature address at one-day workshop (188/2006)
BASSETERRE, ST. KITTS, JUNE 26TH 2006 (CUOPM) - A workshop aimed at facilitating a comprehensive consultative process between senior managers in the public sector will be convened on Tuesday.
Acting Financial Secretary, Mrs. Janet Harris said Monday that Prime Minister and Minister of Finance, Hon. Dr. Denzil L. Douglas will deliver the feature address at the 2006 Strategic Planning and Budget Workshop at the Ocean Terrance Inn (OTI).
She told the Communication’s Unit in the Office of the Prime Minister that the workshop facilitator is Ambassador His Excellency Wendell Lawrence with technical support from the Ministry of Finance, Sustainable Development, Information and Technology.
Mrs. Harris said the one-day workshop is being held under the theme “strengthening the policy making framework to promote efficiency, transparency and accountability in the public sector.
